Working hand-in-hand with our end-users
In early July, several NATO operational staff came to the Massy site for the formal UAT (User Assessment Test) of the Addendum 3 program.
In early July, several NATO operational staff came to the Massy site for the formal UAT (User Assessment Test) of the Addendum 3 program.
UATs are an opportunity to receive valuable feedback from users, but also to test the usability of the system under exercise conditions. TRS put the system in the hands of operational users who ran multiple operational scenarios. It is an important stage in the development of the system, which makes it possible to validate the operational usability of the system beyond the factory or site acceptance tests.
During these tests, the operational usability of the system was assessed by executing operational vignettes. In particular, the changes brought by Addendum 3 were analysed (new operational capabilities, new HMIs, new supervision etc.).
The users provided a good and usable feedback on the system. .
Building a system hand-in-hand with the system user is at the heart of ThalesRaytheonSytems agile-development approach.
